COVID-19 and Your Mental Health

COVID-19 and Your Mental Health

Are you having trouble sleeping or paying attention?

Are you worried about your job, your health, or the health of your loved ones?

Are you struggling to take care of yourself or others who depend on you?

It’s more important than ever for you to get the support you need, and we can help.

We’re open. We’re accepting new and returning patients. Our therapists are available for video sessions from the comfort of your home. Many insurance plans are covering telehealth appointments in full with no cost to you.

We understand the effects that COVID-19 is having on all of us. You may have lost someone to COVID-19, you may be unemployed or have concerns that your job is not secure, or worry that your partner might lose their job. You may be worried that you or someone close to you will get sick. It can be overwhelming and scary. You may be experiencing symptoms of extreme stress: insomnia, extreme fatigue, racing thoughts, feelings of depression and hopelessness, irritability, heart palpitations, tightness in your chest. You may be the primary caretaker and/or provider for your immediate and extended family members, being the one that everyone else turns to, all while suffering emotionally in the midst of this chaotic and uncertain time. You may feel that there are too many other people to prioritize and take care of that you don’t have time to invest in yourself and your own self-care. You may be feeling overwhelmed and wondering where to start and how you could possibly invest in your own therapy when there are so many other things and people to worry about and attend to.

The best investment you can possibly make is the investment in you. Not only will you benefit, but the people you love and care about will benefit too. It’s when we’re at our best that we can best support those around us. We accept a wide variety of insurance plans or can help make therapy affordable if you do not have insurance. Get in touch and we will connect you with one of our experienced and highly-skilled therapists. Together, we can make tomorrow better than today.
