As your therapist, my goal would be to provide you with a therapeutic relationship in which you can feel comfortable sharing your feelings and struggles. Together, we would work on the goals you want to accomplish. I would assist you in increasing your understanding of your feelings and motivations, and in improving your coping skills, mood, self-esteem, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and social/relationship skills. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and have had more than two decades of enjoying the privilege and honor of helping clients address issues including anxiety, depression, stress management, low self-esteem, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, disabilities, parenting skills, and conflict in relationships. I use a variety of treatment modalities based on the needs, strengths, and interests of my clients. I have worked mainly in outpatient settings, but also in school settings, and have helped children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Currently, I work with clients ages 18 and up. I wish you the best as you work toward your goals, whether it be with me or another therapist.
