I obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in 2006. Since then, I have gained extensive experience working with individuals dealing with grief, chronic illness, and major life transitions.
Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice. I believe that trust, collaboration and personalized support are the foundations of effective therapy. I pride myself on earning your trust through consistent, compassionate, and non-judgmental support. Understanding your unique experiences and perspectives is essential to our work together, and I strive to create an opportunity for you to feel comfortable sharing your experience.
I feel that grief is a personal experience and, whether you are grieving a spouse, child, parent, or even a pet, you should be provided a safe, non-judgmental space to process your experience. When you or a loved one are experiencing a major life transition, such as a chronic illness, you also experience a form of grief as your life changes. Whether you are struggling with this “new normal” or simply need an understanding ear, I’m able to provide the personal support you need.
