As your counselor, I will provide you with a supportive, non-judgmental, and accepting space where you can feel safe to share. We can walk this journey together by exploring the past and present events that are holding you back from reaching a life of peacefulness and self-fulfillment.
I have been privileged to work with clients that experience complex traumas, bi-polar disorders, anxiety, depression, thoughts of self-harm, identity, attachment and many other mental health concerns. I am a person-centered counselor that uses a variety of treatment modalities that best suit you to facilitate growth, insight, and change. Such as, but not limited to, art, mindfulness, emotion-focused, trauma-informed and other means of therapy that encourages the client to explore and to gain a better understanding of themselves.
I received my education from Wayne State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Art Therapy.
To accommodate your busy schedule, I offer appointments in the morning, afternoon, and evenings so you don’t have to worry about missing work, school or time with your family. I also offer teletherapy via phone or video chat. All means of treatment are confidential and secure.
