What will my insurance cover? How much will my sessions cost?
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, services may be covered in full or in part. Please contact your insurance company to verify your plan’s benefits for psychotherapy services.
We recommend asking these questions of your insurance provider to help you determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Does my plan cover telehealth services? (if applicable)
- Do I have a deductible? If so, how much is it, has it been met, and when will it reset?
- Do I have a copay or coinsurance? If so, how much is it?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Sliding-Scale Intern Appointments
We offer a limited number of reduced-fee appointments with Master of Social Work (MSW) interns for clients who are open to working with an intern. Fees for these sessions are offered on a sliding pay scale, and are not billed to insurance. Please contact our office for current rates, availability, and questions about payment or insurance related to intern sessions.
Payment
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged a late cancellation fee.
